AI will NOT write for you. But it can help you write better. Writing is hard. It should be. AI will not take that away. But as a tool, it can help you bring your best work to life.

Current writing-assistance features

Mana currently offers these writing-assistance features:

Grammar and spelling

Keep a live, project-aware grammar and spelling check open for the current document.

Chat with a character

Talk with an Atlas character using its profile and project context.

Reader reactions

Generate a reader-style response to the current content scene.

Add to Discord

Let an Atlas character respond through a connected Discord bot.

Play Narration

Generate narration audio from a project document or pasted text.

Credits

Generative features such as character chat, reader reactions, Discord responses, and narration use weekly credits. Credits reset every Tuesday at 10:00 UTC. Grammar checking does not use AI credits. You can track usage in Settings under Usage. When your credits are exhausted, metered features pause until the next weekly reset. The request that pushes usage over the limit can still complete. See AI credits and usage.

Your writing

Mana does not use your writing to train AI models. Writing-assistance features process the relevant text to provide the action you requested, such as proofreading, reader reactions, character chat, Discord replies, or narration.
