# Welcome to Mana

> A practical guide to writing, organizing, and using AI in Mana.

Mana is a writing workspace for long-form projects. It combines an editor, project organization, an Atlas for reference material, and a small set of AI tools for review and exploration.

This guide documents what Mana does today. It avoids coming-soon features and focuses on the workflows you can use now.

## Writing assistance in Mana

AI will NOT write for you. But it can help you write better.

Writing is hard. It should be. AI will not take that away. But as a tool, it can help you bring your best work to life.

## What Mana saves

Your projects are saved to your account and sync across devices when Mana is online. The desktop app can buffer brief reconnects, but Mana is not a full long-term offline editor.
