## What the character can know

Character chat can use:

* The character's name
* The character description
* Character attributes
* Relevant story context when available
* Other Atlas entities when they are part of the character's context

If project context is not available yet, chat still works from the character profile.

## Reset a conversation

Use the chat settings menu to restart the chat thread for that character.

## Current limits

* Each user has one chat thread per character.
* Export, regenerate, save to scratch, insert into editor, and delete-message actions are not available yet.
* Character chat uses AI credits.

See [AI credits and usage](/en/usage-quota).
